Saint Flashlight is the pseudonymous name for two artists, Molly Bianca Gross and Drew Pisarra. Both have worked extensively in performing arts and visual arts respectively.
Molly Gross studied Electronic Media Art at the Hochschule fur Graphik und Buch-Kunst in Leipzig, Germany, and lived in Germany--Berlin, Leipzig, Boehlen, Aachen--in the 90s. She is a published poet (TheDiagram.com). Her fourth poetry chapbook, Shapes, came out in 2013. Return to the Work section of this site to read her poems.
Drew Pisarra toured his monologues (The Gospel According to Saint Genet, Singularly Grotesque) to theaters and museums around the country. He has been the recipient of grants and commissions from the Brooklyn Arts Council, the Brooklyn Arts Exchange, the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art and the Brooklyn Art Museum. His work has been seen at Bumbershoot in Seattle, Highways in L.A., Maryland Art Place in Baltimore, and at various theaters in NYC.
